I represent individuals who have had a criminal charge dismissed and now want the charge to be expunged or erased from their criminal record. Expunging or erasing a criminal charge is often desired so that during routine background checks a prospective employer cannot see a past charge. Unless expunged, the charge will remain on your record even though it was dismissed.
You are eligible if: (1) your charge was dismissed and (2) you have not previously been convicted of a felony. Expungements are possible for convictions; however, the services I render require dismissals.
